THE LUX LIFE (RELAIS & CHATEAUX)

Join us for our 2019 Health & Wellness Departures and New Yoga Instructor Aboard the MV Origin

AUTHOR Ecoventura

In addition to christening our second and newest luxury vessel, MV Theory, in 2019, we are pleased to announce the arrival of our new master yoga instructor, Carolina Larrea for our 2019 Health & Wellness departures (on the MV Origin)!

A resident of the Galapagos Islands whose teachings have taken her as far as India and Spain, Carolina is eager to share with guests her mastery of mindfulness meditation, pranayama breathing and Vinyasa Yoga.

We will feature Carolina aboard our Health and Wellness departures scheduled for this fall (see dates below). If a holistic cruise through the Galapagos blended with all the amenities of our standard departures sounds like something for you, read on to learn how you can come aboard in 2019!

Guests aboard MV Origin will be able to nurture their mind, body, and spirit through professionally-led yoga and breathing sessions with Carolina, daily adventures like snorkeling and nature walks, and expertly-prepared cuisine sourced from only the finest local ingredients.

Guests will be able to enjoy all of our regularly-scheduled activities in addition to healthy culinary experiences and professionally-led yoga sessions.  Rather than replacing activities from our normal cruises, our Health & Wellness program is integrated seamlessly into our regularly featured experiences.

Our culinary school-trained chefs, while preparing exquisite three and-four-course meals, are happy to accommodate any special dietary requests. We offer delicious plant-based meals to suit all vegans or vegetarians, while at least one-quarter of our food served comes from the Galapagos Islands.  Take advantage of our new menu items such as acai, coconut water, and detox juices and smoothies (all made with fresh fruit).

Each morning will begin with a yoga class led by Carolina with asanas (physical practice of yoga), pranayamas (breathing and energy flow techniques), and a short meditation that will leave you feeling balanced and fresh. The asanas will be a combination of Hatha Yoga (balance of the Sun and Moon) and Vinyasa (flow).  Guests can then explore the Islands through our naturalist-guided nature walks and snorkeling amongst sea turtles and colorful fish. Explore the pristine coastline by kayak or stand-up paddle board, or from our glass-bottom boat.

Peaceful late-afternoon yoga classes are held each day, enabling guests to relax their bodies and minds. As a special treat, Carolina will offer mindfulness meditation or Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) to enhance the relaxation and peace of everyone in attendance.

Passengers may spend the remainder of their evening unwinding in luxury accommodations, enjoying delicious cuisine, and sipping wine on deck in the gently-blowing sea breeze.
