Amazing yacht-size cruise with super friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, knowledgeable guides, beautiful luxurious ships and incredible atmosphere!

Galapagos was a bucket-list vacation for us and we did the research to make sure we found a tour company that would deliver on very high expectations. Ecoventura exceeded expectations in every way. We had a snag on timing before the trip and they were kind and accommodating. Our credit card company was being annoying with payment chunks, and they worked through it with us no problem. The real wow came with the vacation itself. The ship was beautiful, the itineraries well designed, excursions well executed, with great food. What we will remember the most (beyond the Galapagos wildlife) is the staff on the cruise who to a person was amazing. The guides, the concierge, food and beverage team, the helmsmen, and housekeeping made a great trip exceptional. Well done to the entire team at Ecoventura, and thank you for a one in a lifetime experience.

For my husband’s 70th birthday, we decided to bring 17 Of our closest friends and family, and we chose the Eco Ventura evolve as our cruise ship for our Galapagos journey. The boat was beautifully appointed spacious lots of really smart things in the room, like storage under the bed, a vanity, and of course nice robes. The boat was extremely comfortable and spacious for all of us. And we really enjoyed eating dinner out on the deck at night time it was lovely. Every single meal was attended to by the chef and it was a great variety and also great quality… everything was delicious. Additionally, Jessica Alex and Victor took care of us during all meals with our bar orders and food delivery, etc. and they all shine as wonderful captains of their industry as well as friendly, joyful people to be around. We’re very proud of Alex pursuing his Sommleir levels! With regards to the activities and being able to see the highlights of the Galapagos, we had Martin and Fernando as our guides. Each day they would give us a briefing and tell us what we’ll be doing the next day. It was extremely well organized, and our days were packed with booby sightings, frigate mating, sea lion swimming, snorkeling with sharks and sea turtles. One thing you will learn about the guides in the Galapagos is that their training is ongoing weekly because this ecosystem does change and the guides are so knowledgeable and helpful. It’s a highlight of the trip to learn from them. And last, but not least highlight for me was the giant tortoise preserve. I love the Galapagos is taking care of all these animals, especially our giant tortoises, and we thank them for being the stewards of these giant gentle beings. Can’t thank the crew and staff enough. All the team members from the Captain Leo to Christian who was our funny boat driver and Alberto who looked after us in so many ways every day. So to conclude, I obviously highly highly recommend a journey with eco-Ventura and the evolved team if you do come to the Galapagos.

I didn’t take my galápagos cruise with them, but I just wanted to say thank you for helping me get back to my own cruise boat. I had no way of contacting them. On Oct. 4th on San Cristobal, I missed my zodiac ride back to the grand Daphne, and a very kind crew from ecoventura dropped me off from the port back to my boat. So thank you!

We just spent the week of 7/20/2025- 7/27/2025 on board the Evolve ship. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS!! This group has every single detail dialed in. From an operational perspective I was VERY impressed. The crew was communicative, paid attention to detail, provided excellent service and were literal ninjas in keeping our cabins clean. We would take a nap and be gone for 5 minutes and the beds were made. The food was EXCELLENT- they paid attention to each guests dietary needs. Our guides Billy and Cecibel were incredibly knowledgeable, personable and truly made our trip. The staff on board - from our Captain to the chefs and waitstaff was so full of energy and kept us laughing while waiting on us hand and foot. Steph was also very helpful and made sure no details were left to chance. I never leave reviews but if I could give 10 stars I would. BOOK WITH THEM! You will not be disappointed! Thank you to EcoVentura for a trip of a LIFETIME!

No words will capture how much this trip meant to my husband and I. Our expectations were blown out of the water! First, to talk about some wildlife highlights. On our last night with Ecoventura, just as our last activity was ending, we got a call from the captain that he spotted dolphins from the boat. Our guides (Martín and Antonio, both of whom were phenomenal) quickly guided us to the zodiacs, where we chased after the dolphins. They played with our boat and jumped fully out of the water 3 times! Throughout our time there, we also saw blue footed boobies, penguins, sea lions, marine iguanas, land iguanas, frigates with their inflated red pouch, Galapagos crabs, albatross, white-tipped and black-tipped reef sharks, flamingoes, eagle rays, and giant tortoises (and baby tortoises). As if that wasn't enough, the scenery was incredible, and it felt surreal being on these uninhabited islands. We also learned an astounding amount about everything that we saw. I chose Ecoventura for my Galapagos expedition after chatting with someone else who had been. She mentioned that her husband had cruised with another company previously, and his experience paled in comparison to hers. Due to the ship's size at 20 passengers or less (and the highest crew-to-passenger ratio in the Galapagos), this means more personalized experience and fewer crowds. It also inherently means you get to do more, since a lot of islands have strict limits on how many people get to step onto the island at a time, so most people on larger ships aren't disembarking 3 times per day like we were with Ecoventura. I really liked the schedule, which for the most part included a beach walk in the morning, a snorkel in the afternoon, and a "hike"/guided wildlife walk in the evening. We were able to visit 7 islands (more than Darwin did!), so we were never bored. As for the boat itself, the yacht was ultimate luxury! Someone came in to clean our cabins every time we left, so they were never sandy or wet. The food and cocktails were divine. Everyone, especially the captain, Peter, was so friendly, and we even got to steer the ship, blow the horn, and dine with the captain. This trip was truly unforgettable. It's going to be hard to top.

Amazing. I would highly recommend and would go again in a heartbeat. The crew and naturalists were top notch, food was abundant and delicious, and I felt safe and well-cared for the whole time. This should be a bucket-list item for anyone who can go and Ecoventura is the perfect way to see the Galapagos. The number of people on board is not too many, so everything seems personal and well-crafted!

Galapagos is a wonderful place to visit made even better by travelling with Ecoventura. On board accomodation, facilities and catering were outstanding. With so much wildlife to see, the naturalists from the ship were very knowledgeable and helpful in their explanations.

Just returned from two weeks on the Origin. I went with my two daughters, who are in their 50's. Our two naturalists, Billy and Katrina, and a third were fantastic. Hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, and zodiac rides kept us very busy. The staff, the crew, the chefs, and everyone else were truly amazing, All the animals and birds we saw were unbelievable. We were treated like kings. This is a fantastic company to work with if you are considering a trip to the Galapagos Islands. On a scale of one to five, I would rate them a seven !!

Our 8-day tour on the Evolve was the most fantastic trip! From the moment our naturalist guides, Karina and Malena, met us at San Cristobal airport, we were put at ease. The yacht staff was amazing - immediately remembering our names, dietary requirements, and preferences. The guides presented information with a perfect blend of expertise and humor that was appropriate for our group. The food and drinks on-board were of a very high caliber. We could not have asked for anything more!

My best vacation ever. The crew on Theory, and our guides Karina and Antonio, were fantastic and made everyone feel totally relaxed. The excursions were just incredible - the wildlife is as amazing as everyone says it is, and you really do get up close - such as having to carefully avoid stepping on the hundreds of marine iguanas. The pace of the vacation was full but not too much (and of course you can skip any excursion), with great support from the crew for things such as getting in and out of wetsuits, choosing the right cocktail for the occasion, etc 🙂 Thoroughly recommended.

We just got back from our trip on the Evolve and it was the most amazing trip!!! Honestly this crew absolutely blew away all my expectations. The crew was absolutely outstanding. They worked so well as a team and made everything wonderful. The food was AMAZING!!!! I really loved the Chef's choice selections. The Galápagos Islands are incredible. But seeing it this way with this company is definitely the best way to do it. Our guides, Billy and Jeffo are without a doubt the best guides in the history of the world. I learned so much and the way they showed us the islands was like magic. The daily excursions were amazing. 2 hikes a day and 1 or 2 snorkels a day. I swam with penguins, marine iguanas, sea lions, turtles, fish, sharks, rays, and the most beautiful fish. it was amazing. The small group atmosphere of the boat is what really makes it. We left with 13 new friends that I feel lucky to have shared this experience with. We all laughed together and adventures. We made sure everyone was seeing everything and having the best time too. I just wish the company had these cruises other places!!! I would do it all again!

Had an amazing trip aboard the Origin in January 2024. The Ecoventura crew was outstanding. They all worked together to make certain we all had an enjoyable trip. Everything was top-notch. Enjoyed all the activities and all that was offered on-board. Can’t say enough about the trip. I highly recommend.

This was one of the BEST trips we have ever taken, if not THE best. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Ecoventura to ANYONE going to the Galapagos. From beginning to end, the communication was fantastic, clear, and fast. Everything was seamless, from the airport pickup, to the hotel, to the flights, to the entire cruise and departure process. The cruise itself was delightful: lovely rooms with big windows over the ocean, AMAZING staff, fantastic food and drinks, and extremely knowledgeable guides (thank you, Jeffo and Pepe!!). We learned so much about the wildlife of the Galapagos and just had the best time ever. Oh, and the other guests were delightful as well. Thank you, Ecoventura!

The excursions were perfectly organised and accompanied by two sympathetic and knowledgeable naturalist guides (thank you Antonio and Pepe!). The cabins were comfortable and the food was excellent. Every single staff member was friendly and competent. It is hard to think of any negative points of this journey, which was worth every penny. A perfect holiday.

We were so very happy to have been able to experience such a 1st class experience in the Galapagos. Ecoventura and its crew (the Evolve yacht for our family that included 2 parents and 2 adult children) was absolutely 1st class. Every single member of the crew were just wonderful to each of us. Protect us at all times while having a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful part of the world. Additionally the guides, Sofia and Antonio, were incredible and really helped make our adventure unforgettable and something to never forget and continue to protect. Trip of a lifetime! We highly recommend this team for your Galapagos adventure!

If you are looking for a Galapagos Cruise, stop searching you have found the right company to go with! We did the Volcanic Wonders 8 Nights, 7 days itinerary aboard the Evolve in May 2023. The trip experience itself was astounding, the landscapes, animals, and snorkeling are once in a lifetime. Our Naturalists - Sofia and Antonio were so informative and energetic, I cannot imagine a trip without them and will be seeking them out for any other Galapagos trip I do in the future. The service and experience onboard the ship were also incomparable, our concierge Joselyn was always available and made sure every detail of our trip was taken care of, whether small details like room comfort to larger questions we might have had - she was always able to help. The ships crew paid so much more attention than we could have imagined, Luis, Xavier and Ali who manned the Pangas (zodiac boats), were always careful with speed and bumps, but also paid such careful attention to who could see which angle, who had gotten their photograph. Our barmen: Alexander and Victor were incredibly attentive, to the point of remembering our drink orders and having personalized recommendations when requested. Alberto our room attendant was so fast and thorough, our rooms were always cleaned and turned down each time we left. The food aboard the ship was also a delight, we particularly enjoyed the Ecuadorian options at each meal occasion, we did not expect such amazing food on such a small boat - amazing work from Estuardo and Erick! Overall our crew was what made the trip extraordinary, from the personal greeting, the party where we got to meet and spend time with our wonderful electrician Pablo and engineer Luis as well. As well as our captain Jhon greeting us 'home' after each trip.

This trip has become our gold standard. The crew was incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the itinerary was awesome.

This trip was very thoughtfully and carefully designed. Each day was well balanced with expeditions -- hiking, snorkeling, kayaking. The naturalist guides were knowledgeable and helpful. We felt well cared for. The food was excellent and plentiful. The rooms were not large but were comfortable and well-maintained. The fellow guests were great -- relaxed and cheerful. It was a strenuous trip but definitely worthwhile. The ages of our group ranged from 8 to 70 and all had a good time.

First class. Our visit was amazing. It was everything I expected and more. The two guides Karina and Ivan were top notch and became fast friends to all in our group. I highly recommend this company to see the Galapagos!

I’ve been all over the world on a lot of adventures, but this was the most amazing of them all. Slightly morbid, but I tell everyone if they get diagnosed with a terminal illness, this is the last trip they need to take. Go out with a bang!

Fabulous experience. It was well organised and great food. My only comment is I had to ask the female guide to speak more slowly as her accent was very strong and I was’t catching everything she was telling us. She was very knowledgeable.

Just got off the Theory after a wonderful 8 day cruise through the Galapagos Islands. I had never been on a cruise like this and afterwards I can say it is the only way to see the Islands. Everything about the experience was top notch. The size was perfect with the ability to meet all the crew and passengers on board. Everyday was a new adventure and the professional guides explained everything about the wildlife and geology of the trips. All the Panga rides, kayaks, snorkeling, hiking and sight seeing was arranged so well. I feel I couldn't have seen anymore things then were presented to me. The Captain and crew were professional and saw to every need we had. The food was excellent and filled with many choices. After every adventure there were snacks and drinks to keep us filled up. There was nothing better than a hot chocolate after a morning snorkeling tour. The bar staff kept us hydrated with all the normal fare as well as specialty concoctions. The cabins were well sized and the staff would keep it spotless and cleaned up after every excursion we were on. Everything about this trip made it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Having the trip arranged through Adventure Life (Thank you Erin Correia and team) also helped to make the trip to and from the Theory effortless. I was able to experience some of Quito before and after arriving to the cruise. Both Origin and Theory and Adventure Life made this all something I will remember always with a smile.

Going to the Galapagos has always been on my bucket list. Putting a trip in someone else's hands is always a risk but it was better than I could have dreamed of. I have never liked the idea of a cruise but as it was the best way to see the islands I had no choice. Ecoventura offered trips that were small and personal. What I hadn't banked on was making life time friendships with other passengers that truly made the experience! As a biologist myself I always hope the guides will be good and I cannot fault them , especially as they were passing on knowledge in a language that wasn't their mother tongue. Fernando and Antonio were excellent. The fact that they also helped us with our photography skills was an added bonus. The boat itself was spotlessly clean and the constant snacks and food was terrible for my waistline😂. The food onboard was fantastic , easily top restaurant quality and with lots of choice. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff, even when due to jet lag we were up at 5.00am. The Galápagos Islands should be on everyones bucket list as a dream holiday and I can think of nothing that Ecoventura could do to make the holiday better. I 100% recommend Ecoventura.

Unbelievable experience. Our guides, Katrina and Malena, were informative, helpful and clearly loved Galapagos. Our boat, the Origin, was comfortable and well equipped. Our chefs were talented, the food extraordinary! Our Captain, Gregory, was helpful and generous of his time. Everything was well planned, highly detailed and thoughtfully laid out. Highly recommend Ecoventura. It is expensive but worth every penny.

My family and I had one of the most incredible vacations aboard Theory. The yacht is spectacular and comfortable, the crew is so incredibly kind and professional, the food is delicious, and the excursions are once in a lifetime. If you are looking to swim and hike amongst wild animals like sharks, dolphins, turtles, sea lions, rays, rare birds and more then this is the experience for you.

My daughter and I have traveled to more than 70 countries, and I must say that this trip is one of the most memorable that we have taken. We cannot thank the staff enough. They are genuinely kind and responsive, almost intuitive, to your every need. The yacht is beautiful and well-maintained. This is truly an all-inclusive trip which included all equipment that we needed for all the excursions and all meals. The food is delicious and plentiful. The itinerary is designed to introduce you to the animals, vegetation, and history of the islands (and none of this was dull or boring). The activities were exciting and a wonderful way to gain up close experiences with the wildlife. The guides were informative, warm, professional, and knowledgeable, truly exceptional in every way. Overall, I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed the experience with Ecoventura.

I have never had a more organized, action-packed, and beautiful vacation in my life. I cannot even find the words to say how much I would recommend Ecoventura!

Great week on the Origin. Karina and Marlena the on-board naturalists were superb. Diego and Luiz the bartenders/waiters were fabulous. The captain and entire crew were Gracious and efficient. Galapagos Islands extremely fascinating. Take this trip.

We spent a week cruising the Galapagos with Ecoventura onboard the Letty, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The crew on the boat were beyond exceptional - especially our guides. They itinerary was incredibly well planned and thought out, and our guides did a great time making sure we were at the right place at the right time. From the guides and experiences to the food, drinks, amenities on boat, and friendliness of the staff, I can say that everything was 5*. The booking process was smooth and easy, and they even helped us ensure we had a special activity planned for an important personal day while on board. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you for an INCREDIBLE week. A small boat cruise like this is ABSOLUTELY the right way to tour the Galapagos. You'll leave changed forever. What an amazing place.

It has been an amazing week, everything was planned to the every detail. All staff were excellent and helpful always eager to satisfy the guests in the cruise. One of our best trips as a family , we will never forget.

Amazing trip - we visited the Galapagos in January -We were so fortunate to have the most amazing naturalists - the best ship mates, wonderful amenities, comfortable beds and a superb captain and staff. How every meal was this amazing was always a shock to me... we had choices for all meals. Really can't recommend this company enough.

We had a fantastic trip to the Galapagos in October on the Letty boat with Ecoventura. The two naturalists/guides (Antonio and Natasha) were outstanding as was the crew led by Captain David. We snorkeled for five days, and saw a plethora of fish, turtles, and rays, aided by great snorkeling equipment. The landings and excursions/hikes to various islands were spectacular and we were overwhelmed by birds, sea lions, iguanas, tortoises that you could almost touch. We had the opportunity to observe their mating patterns and natural environment close up. The food was plentiful, fresh and fantastically prepared and served. I would highly recommend going with Ecoventura as they were a pleasure to deal with.

What an incredible experience. From start to finish there was no detail too small and no need left unmet. The ship is beautiful, only surpassed by the service, which for me was a highlight. The team is just fabulous - engaging, welcoming, accommodating and just above and beyond. And the excursions and experiences are second to none. Galapagos is a phenomenal place and I can't imagine there being a better way to see it.
