CRUISE RATES INCLUDE

  • Cabin accommodation in a double cabin (95 square feet), featuring windows or portlights, and located on three decks.  Two cabins on the iguana deck can accommodate triples with an upper berth.
  • All meals and after excursions snacks are creatively prepared using fresh local ingredients from sustainable providers.  Dinner is a beautifully plated four course menu and BBQ lunch is served on the sun deck.  There is a cooking demonstration and snacks are available at the bar.                               
  • Captain’s welcome and farewell cocktail, house wine and local beer with dinner, juice, sodas, filtered water, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and tea 24/7.
  • Guided shore excursions twice daily, evening briefings and enrichment lectures
  • Exploration of the shoreline by Zodiac or glass-bottom boat
  • Kayaks (two doubles and a single), two stand up paddle boards,
  • Wet suits (full 3mm) and snorkeling equipment (mask, fins and snorkel)
  • Transfers in the Islands between the airport with meet & greet and the dock in Galapagos.

  • International Airfare to Ecuador – you must arrive to Quito or Guayaquil the day prior to the cruise
  • Hotel accommodation in Ecuador the night before your cruise – we can assist with your reservation
  • Airfare from Quito or Guayaquil to Galapagos – your flight is confirmed through our allotment of seats with Avianca on Sunday to San Cristobal (SCY) * 
  • Galapagos Park entrance fee (park tax) – $100 for adults $50 for children 11 and under
  • Migration control Transit card (TCT or INGALA) fee $20 per person 
  • Gratuities to guides and crew – guests are encouraged to leave the amount they find appropriate.
  • For those who inquire, the suggested amount is $250-300 per guest per week
  • Purchases from the bar for wine and spirits or purchases from the boutique.  We accept cash (US Dollars), Master Card and VISA

Holiday supplement of $250 per person or $5,000 on charters

No discounts are available including child and teen discounts. The single rate has a 100% supplement.  Terms for deposits and cancellation during holiday weeks are different from the rest of the year. 

7 day/ 6 night cruise option

(Sunday to Saturday) 

Passengers can disembark on Saturday in Baltra for a shorter, 6-night cruise.  On seasonal departure dates only (Sep 1 to Nov 1), there is a discount of 10% given when guests disembark after breakfast and this cannot be combined with any other promotional or child/teen discount. On peak weeks, (Nov 1 to Aug 30) passengers may disembark on Saturday, but there is no discount.  For guests who require a private transfer to the airport with a guide, there is an additional charge of $50 per person (max $200).  The return flight from Baltra has a surcharge of $27 per person and is subject to availability and confirmation is requested at the time of booking.

Two-week/ back-to-back discounts cannot be combined with any other discount and do not apply to holiday weeks.

Child and teen discounts

children age 11 years and younger at the time of sailing are entitled to a 25% discount off the cruise rate. The airfare has a 30% discount and the park entrance fee is $50 with proof of age and photocopy of the child’s passport showing date of birth.  Children ages 12-17 years are entitled to a 15% discount off the cruise rate only.  Children under age 6 years of age are not accepted unless the parents or legal guardians sign a hold harmless release.  Children age 11 and younger are only permitted only on a designated family departure. Designated family and family teen departures are offered during school breaks.  Children under the age of 5 are only permitted on an exclusive charter basis. 

Restrictions on child discounts

We allow one child discount per adult fare with a limit of two per family. Ecoventura may limit the total number of child discounts permitted on anyone departure.  Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.  No child discounts are given on holiday weeks.

LETTY – TERMS & CONDITIONS

All reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received in our account by the due date.

There is a service charge of $50.00 per person for airline tickets to Galapagos cancelled 15-60 days prior to departure and there is no refund for the airfare, park entrance fee or transit card if cancelled 15 days or less prior to departure.

Individual (FIT) bookings (1-5 passengers)
Deposits – A deposit of $500 per person and $1000 for singles is required within five days of written confirmation to guarantee any reservation.
Final payment – Full payment is due 60 days prior to the sailing date and must be accompanied with a passenger information form.

Cancellation policy – Cancellations received up to 90 days prior to departure will be refunded in full except for a $250 per person service charge; 89-60 days prior to departure, the full deposit will be forfeited, 59-0 days prior to departure, the entire cruise rate is forfeited. Small Group bookings (3 or more cabins) Deposits & Final payment – same as above. In addition, a second deposit of $500 per person and $1000 for singles is due 180 days prior to departure. Cancellation policy – Cancellations received up to 180 days prior to departure will be refunded in full except for a $250 per person service charge;

179-150 days prior to departure – Can cancel 2 cabins with a penalty of $250 per person, additional cabins released are subject to penalty charge of $500 per person.

149-120 days prior to departure – Can cancel 1 cabin with a penalty of $250 per person, additional cabins released are subject to a penalty of $500 per person

119-90 days prior to departure – any cancellation is subject to a penalty of $500 per person.

89-60 days prior to departure – any cancellation is subject to a penalty of $1000 per person

59-0 days prior to departure – full penalty for any cancellation

CHARTER Bookings – excluding holiday weeks

Deposits – A deposit of $10,000 is due to guarantee the charter. A second deposit of $10,000 is due 180 days prior to departure to guarantee all cabins. Final payment is due in full at 60 days prior to departure together with passenger information forms and cabin assignment.

Full charter Cancellation policy – Cancellations received in writing will be refunded – except for a service charge of $2500 if cancelled one year or more prior to departure, $5000 if cancelled 9-12 months prior, or $7500 if cancelled 6-9 months prior.

179-150 days prior to departure, cancellation incurs penalty of 100% first deposit.

149-120 days prior to departure, cancellation incurs penalty of 100% first deposit and 50% of second deposit.

119-60 days prior to departure, cancellation incurs penalty of 100% of the first and second deposits.

59-0 days of departure cancellation incurs full penalty.

Reduction of cabins on charters – The number of cabins blocked for a charter can be reduced. However, cabins must be released according to our time schedule or penalties will be applied as follows: 180+ days prior to departure – Can release up to 3 cabins without a penalty and convert the charter to a group booking, additional cabins released are subject to a penalty of $250 per person.

179-150 days prior to departure – Can release up to 2 cabins with a penalty of $250 per person, additional cabins released are subject to penalty charge of $500 per person.

149-120 days prior to departure – Can release 1 cabin with a penalty of $250 per person, any additional cabins released are subject to penalty charge of $500 per person.

119-90 days prior to departure – Any cancellation is subject to a penalty of $500 per person.

89-60 days prior to departure – any cancellation is subject to a penalty of $1000 per person 59-0 days prior to departure – full penalty for any cancellation

TERMS & CONDITIONS – HOLIDAY

Individual bookings for HOLIDAY weeks

Deposits – A deposit of $1000.00 per person ($2000 for singles) is required within five days of written confirmation to guarantee any reservation.

Deposits & Final payment – same as above. In addition, a second deposit of $1000 per person and $2000.00 for singles is due 360 days prior to departure.

Holiday weeks – Full charter bookings

Deposits – A non-refundable non-transferable deposit of $20,000 for holiday weeks is due to guarantee the charter. A second non-refundable non-transferable deposit of $20,000 is due 365 days prior to departure to guarantee all cabins. Final payment is due in full 90 days prior to departure together with passenger information forms and cabin assignment.
