CRUISE RATES do not INCLUDE

  • International airfare to Ecuador (Quito or Guayaquil).
  • Hotel accommodation in Ecuador the night before your cruise (although we can assist you with the process of selecting your hotel in Quito or Guayaquil).
  • Airfare from Quito or Guayaquil to the Galápagos (although we can book your flights through our allotment of seats on Avianca) and there are 12 seats in Business class available for an additional fee of $114 per person round trip.
  • Galápagos National Park entrance fee ($100 for adults, and $50 for children ages 11 and younger).
  • INGALA migration control card (TCT) $20 per person.
  • Both the Galápagos National Park tax and TCT card will be automatically added to your invoice and prepaid by Ecoventura for your convenience, and we will take care of your paperwork, unless you decline. Only those passengers flying to the Galápagos on Sunday via Avianca can prepay the park tax and TCT. Rates are subject to change at any time until day of departure.
  • Gratuities to your guides and crew are not included in your rate, as we believe guests should tip the amount they deem adequate according to his or her experience. The international standard onboard a luxury vessel is approximately $300 to $350 per guest, per week, to be distributed among all crew members and guides.
  • Premium liquor purchases from the bar (these brands are available, but not included in the open bar) or items from the boutique.
  • Satellite communications (Wi-Fi) can be purchased for an additional charge of $100 per day or $300 for the entire week, limited to one PIN card per cabin.
  • Laundry service is available Monday through Friday only, and limited to five items.
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment in case of cancellation or delays.
  • Payments accepted on board include cash in US dollars and either Visa or Mastercards.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

All reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received in our account by the due date.
There is a service charge of $50.00 per person for airline tickets to Galapagos cancelled 15-60 days prior to departure and there is no refund for the airfare, park entrance fee or transit card if cancelled 15 days or less prior to departure.
Individual (FIT) bookings (1-5 passengers)
Deposits - A deposit of $500 per person and $1000 for singles is required within five days of written confirmation to guarantee any reservation.
Final payment - Full payment is due 60 days prior to the sailing date and must be accompanied with a passenger information form.
Cancellation policy - Cancellations received up to 90 days prior to departure will be refunded in full except for a $250 per person service charge; 89-60 days prior to departure, the full deposit will be forfeited, 59-0 days prior to departure, theentire cruise rate is forfeited.
Small Group bookings (3 or more cabins)
Deposits & Final payment – same as above. In addition, a second deposit of $500 per person and $1000 for singles is due 180 days prior to departure.
Cancellation policy - Cancellations received up to 180 days prior to departure will be refunded in full except for a $250 per person service charge; 179-150 days prior to departure - Can cancel 2 cabins with a penalty of $250 per person, additional cabins released are subject to penalty charge of $500 per person.
149-120 days prior to departure - Can cancel 1 cabin with a penalty of $250 per person, additional cabins released are subject to a penalty of $500 per person 119-90 days prior to departure – any cancellation is subject to a penalty of $500 per person. 89-60 days prior to departure – any cancellation is subject to a penalty of $1000 per person 59-0 days prior to departure – full penalty for any cancellation
CHARTER Bookings – excluding holiday weeks
Deposits - A deposit of $10,000 is due to guarantee the charter. A second deposit of$20,000 is due 180 days prior to departure to guarantee all cabins. Finalpayment is due in full at 60 days prior to departure together with passenger information forms and cabin assignment.

Full charter Cancellation policy - Cancellations received in writing will be refunded - except for a service charge of $2500 if cancelled one year or more prior to departure, $5000 if cancelled 9-12 months prior, or $7500 if cancelled 6-9 months prior.
179-150 days prior to departure, cancellation incurs penalty of 100% first deposit.
149-120 days prior to departure, cancellation incurs penalty of 100% first deposit and 50% of second deposit.
119-60 days prior to departure, cancellation incurs penalty of 100% of the first and second deposits.
59-0 days of departure cancellation incurs full penalty.
Reduction of cabins on charters - The number of cabins blocked for a charter can be reduced. However, cabins must be released according to our time schedule or penalties will be applied as follows:
180+ days prior to departure - Can release up to 3 cabins without a penalty and convert the charter to a group booking, additional cabins released are subject to a penalty of$250 per person.
179-150 days prior to departure- Can release up to 2 cabins with a penalty of $250 per person, additional cabins released are subject to penalty charge of $500 per person. 149-120 days prior to departure- Can release 1 cabin with a penalty of $250 per person, any additional cabins released are subject to penalty charge of $500 per person.
119-90 days prior to departure - Any cancellation is subject to a penalty of $500 per person.
89-60 days prior to departure – any cancellation is subject to a penalty of $1000 per person
59-0 days prior to departure – full penalty for any cancellation
