Ecoventura’s first class yacht Letty resumed operations in October 2021 as the Galapagos recovery from the pandemic continued unabated. She has been sailing full steam ahead ever since, with lots of happy passengers enjoying the trip of a lifetime on board in recent months.
“It has been a wonderful and excellent experience. Crew, guides, ship and activities were beyond expectations – just wow!” reported one delighted guest after a week sailing the seas of the Galapagos a few weeks ago.
Letty boasts ten ocean-facing cabins, spread across three decks for maximum privacy. Each stateroom has an en-suite bathroom stocked with our biodegradable products, with some rooms able to accommodate families or groups of up to four.
On board, guests can soak up the rays on the sundeck, or relax at the bar or in the sunlight-filled lounge. Board games, a tv and a library are perfect for people looking to unwind after a busy day exploring the islands, and the dining room serves up delicious, locally-sourced produce throughout the week.
In fact, Letty has the same menu, using the same ingredients and overseen by the same hugely talented chef team, as our luxury, Relais & Chateaux vessels Origin and Theory (not to mention the same open bar policy too). So guests can enjoy meal after meal of culinary delights throughout their time on board; freshly caught grilled langoustines in garlic aioli, anyone?
Of course, many would say that the main focus of any Galapagos visit is the excursions – visiting the islands and enjoying the incredible wildlife that has made this remote archipelago one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. And these trips can be hugely enhanced by enthusiastic, friendly guides willing to go the extra mile to make your trip a memorable one.
Fortunately, Letty is blessed with a phenomenal guide team in the form of Diego and Carolina, combined with veterans Fabricio and Jose Luis. Between them, they make for a hugely informative and inspiring experience as they show our passengers around the islands and seas along each of our two itineraries. Both are available with the Letty, with Itinerary A “Beaches & Bays” visiting the Southern and Central Islands and Itinerary B “Volcanic Wonders” taking guests to the Northern and Western Islands. If you’re struggling to choose between the two, fear not – we offer a discount for passengers looking to do both back to back!
“I forgot to mention that during our Letty experience we had Diego and Carolina as our guides. AMAZING duo – they are dynamic, full of energy and able to handle a combination of teens, adults and young children. I’d highly recommend them” another recent passenger reported, after a brilliant family trip to the islands.
And with all the incredible excursions an Ecoventura voyage has to offer – from snorkelling and swimming with sealions, to exploring the islands whilst looking for giant tortoises, to birdwatching and zociac rides – there’s something for everyone on a Letty cruise. And with its own kayaks and stand-up paddle boards too, even the most active passengers aboard Letty will be able to keep themselves busy.
The Letty will be sailing throughout 2022, and we’re very pleased to announce that guests who book soon can enjoy a 15% discount on selected departures. With the same level of service as Origin and Theory, including fantastic guiding, delicious food and drinks, and the same thrilling itineraries and excursions, it’s an opportunity not to be missed.
In the words of one more happy passenger: “You thought of everything! This trip exceeded my expectations and was indeed the trip of a lifetime. Thank you!”
So if you think a Letty cruise could be for you, feel free to get in touch and we would be delighted to help plan your own trip of a lifetime.
