THE LUX LIFE (RELAIS & CHATEAUX)

View marine life from our Glass Bottom zodiacs, on Origin & Theory!

AUTHOR Daniel Andino

Traveling with Ecoventura is an adventure in paradise! We offer a variety of activities to our guests from sea kayaking to Stand-up paddleboarding to snorkeling, but not every guest wants to jump in with both feet.

Not a swimmer? No problem – Ecoventura has you covered on your Galapagos cruise!

We are pleased to announce the addition of a glass-bottom boat for guests aboard the MV ORIGIN!

The clear bottom enables remarkably crystal clear, gratifying observations of the undersea marine environment for our guests who prefer to remain dry.

The glass-bottom boat is in addition to the two rubber zodiacs we use for landings. This boat offers unobstructed views for anyone who wishes to see marine life without getting wet like non-swimmers or photographers or simply for those who want an alternative way to explore marine life on their Galapagos cruise.

Our guides will show you the places that only these smaller zodiac boats can take you! We will explore mangrove estuaries, coves, and caves for close encounters with native wildlife.

Once reaching the estuaries, passengers are presented with the opportunity to paddle around unencumbered leaving you to explore with your loved ones. Get ready to experience close encounters with a variety of wildlife including reef sharks, sea turtles, golden rays, and more!

The ORIGIN is the only 20-passenger yacht with this type of glass-bottom boat on board as they are normally found only on larger ships in the Galapagos.

This new addition offers an exciting new way to see the colorful fish swimming beneath you. Keep your eyes peeled for sea lions and turtles, marine iguanas, and penguins!Find out more about the activities we offer on our expedition cruises here.
